Better than a pinch of salt
Plenty of fasters add salt to their water. We agree with the idea — we just made it measured, balanced and easy to drink.

What most electrolyte brands won't tell you
Skip the hype. Salt won't “cure” your afternoon slump — and any brand that promises it will is overselling you. If your head starts pounding a few hours into a fast, that's most often caffeine wearing off, and your body settles into the routine over the first couple of weeks on its own.
Here's what's actually true: when you skip meals, you skip the salt that normally comes with them. By mid-afternoon you've had almost none. That's the one gap a measured dose of electrolytes genuinely fills — not a miracle, just the input your fast leaves out.
So that's all Vealden is. A precise dose of the sodium, potassium, and magnesium you're not eating — nothing you don't need. No crash-killing promises. No fine print. Just the salt your fast is missing, and the honesty to tell you where it ends.

That depends on your goal. Each stick is 5 calories, zero sugar and under 1g carbs, sweetened with a touch of stevia — which human studies show doesn't raise insulin or blood sugar. If you fast for weight or blood-sugar reasons, it fits. If your goal is strict autophagy, there's no research either way, so plain water is the safest call.
Same proven mineral ratio — built for fasters instead of athletes. No caffeine, guidance timed to your fasting window, and a price made for every day. Mix it in plenty of water, or start with half a stick if you like it less salty.
It is — about 43% of the daily value, on purpose: when you skip meals, you skip the salt that comes with them. One stick plus one evening meal is still far less sodium than three salted meals a day.
It might be. For a lot of morning-coffee drinkers, the afternoon dip is partly coffee wearing off. Salt is one input you can top up easily — we won't pretend it's a cure-all.
Mix one stick into 500–750ml (16–24oz) of water in the back half of your fast, around when your morning coffee starts to fade. Start with half a stick if you prefer it less salty.

From the founder
Why I made Vealden
I fast most days — black coffee in the morning, first real meal at dinner. For a long time the afternoons were the hard part. Everyone said “just add salt,” so I pinched it under my tongue and guessed the dose. It tasted awful and I never knew if it was enough.
So I made the stick I wished existed: a measured dose of the minerals you skip when you skip meals — clean, zero sugar, no caffeine, built for the back half of your fast.
